Information We Collect
VU TALK - VU Quiz Firewall Unlocker DigiSkills & Cisco Bypasser collects only what is strictly necessary to provide its functionality. Nothing more.
Your VU Student ID, hashed passwords, and academic data including marks and assignment deadlines — stored only on your device.
Only collected if you use the Live Community chat feature — your chat messages and user IDs are synced to display in the community feed.
How We Handle & Use Your Data
- Local credentials are used solely to automate your LMS login and retrieve academic results such as Marks Summary and upcoming Deadlines.
- The extension performs quiz and video bypass operations using your local session only — no data leaves your machine for this purpose.
- Chat data is handled exclusively to power the Live Community interaction feature. It is not analysed, profiled, or used elsewhere.

Data Sharing & Disclosure
Your data exists solely within the extension to power its core features. There are no affiliate data pipelines, no analytics vendors receiving personal data, and no advertising partnerships of any kind.
Your Rights & Data Deletion
You remain in full control of your data at all times. Two simple ways to remove everything:
Open the extension popup, navigate to LMS Vault, and delete any saved accounts and passwords on the spot. Takes effect immediately.
Removing VU TALK from Chrome automatically clears all locally stored data, including credentials and cached academic results.
Google Calendar Sync & Data Usage
This section applies only if you choose to enable the optional Google Calendar Sync feature.
- What we access — Your Google email address (via Google Identity API) and your Google Calendar (via Calendar API).
- Why we access it — The email is used only to display the connected account inside the extension UI. Calendar access is used strictly to create, update, and delete academic events — quizzes, assignments, GDB deadlines — fetched from your VU LMS.
- Tokens & retention — We do not store your OAuth2 tokens or calendar events on our servers. Authentication is handled entirely through Google's official OAuth2 flow via the Chrome Identity API. Sync state is kept locally on your device only.
- Background sync — The extension uses the alarms API to periodically check for new LMS deadlines and update your calendar in the background, so you never miss a deadline.
